Frequently Asked Questions About Seafood

Q: How fresh is your "fresh" Japanese seafood?
A: Our fresh seafood is caught or sorted in the morning at Toyosu Market and other fish markets. After packaging, it is delivered to the airport within six hours. The total journey from Japan to your destination airport is 12 to 60 hours.
Q: Is frozen seafood of inferior quality?
A: No! Our frozen products are flash-frozen immediately after being caught and processed (some are frozen on board). This ensures they remain fresher than "fresh" seafood that is left for several days.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: It depends on the product.
Fresh fish: 10-20kg per type
Frozen products: 5-50kg (varies by product)
Total quantity must be 50kg or more.
Q: Can I mix multiple fish in one order?
A: Yes! As long as the minimum weight for air freight (usually 50kg or more) is met.
Q: Do you provide radiation testing reports?
A: Yes, we can provide them upon request. All products are tested to levels far below international safety standards (additional fees apply).
Q: Do you supply tuna for sushi?
A: Yes, we supply farmed and wild-caught tuna processed in Japan for sashimi.
Q: What is the best price for shipping large quantities of seafood?
A: Frozen products shipped by sea offer the best price per kg.
